Civil Engineer Transportation / Public Works in Sacramento, California For Sale

Description: In this position you will be responsible for working on the planning and design of transportation projects.
Duties: Responsible for organizing and executing technical deliverables and coordination of a broad range of assignments requiring previous experience on transportation projects. Under minimal supervision, providing support to project team for all necessary design services, direction, coordination, and follow-up on the work duties assigned to ensure high quality deliverables are prepared, efficiency levels are maintained and client satisfaction exceeded. Delivery of preliminary and final deliverables on transportation projects. Design efforts will be concentrated in transportation engineering, to include: research & analysis, traffic flow, street and highway design, road/storm/sewer drainage design, signage, striping & grading. May represent Psomas clients to agencies and contractors.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering and design with a focus on roadway and highway design
Must have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline
Must be a registered professional engineer (PE) in the state of California
Must have current working knowledge in roadway design software utilizing Civil 3D, Microstation and InRoads knowledge is a plus
Must be familiar with Caltrans and local municipality design and procedures, regulatory compliance and agency coordination
Must be able to work in a team environment
