Title: Facilities Coordinator Location: California:Greater Sacramento Area:Sacramento Other Locations: The Facilities Coordinator position assists the Manager Facilities/Procurement with medium to high complexity facilities issues, requests and projects throughout all SPS facilities. This position uses critical thinking, problem solving, project management and high execution skills, to ensure facilities requests are completed on time, on budget and accurately, over the entire life of the project, from conception to completion. This position reviews and analyzes facilities requests, discerns customer needs, proposes solid and financially prudent solutions, provides continuous quality communication to all affected, oversees execution and vendor/department performance, and works collaboratively with internal and external departments and vendors.A. Education1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent B. Experience/Knowledge: 1. At least 5 years experience in facilities operations 2. Must have basic knowledge of small hand tool operation 3. Must be able to read and understand equipment operation manuals and schematics 4. Working knowledge of basic building fixture and small equipment repair required 5. Working knowledge of basic safety protocol practices, including electrical and mechanical 6. Proven knowledge of basic safe body mechanics practices 7. Working knowledge of basic building code and Cal OSHA regulations preferred 8. Working knowledge in the use and operation of standard office equipment. C. Skills: 1. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) 2. Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, project management and high execution skills. 3. Strong attention to detail 4. Able to work independently as well as part of a team 5. Able to analyze and evaluate user needs. 6. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast:paced environment. 7. Able to work effectively with Sutter Physician Services departments, Sutter Health departments, clients, and vendors 8. Maintains knowledge of current facilities operations protocol, building code and government regulations. 9. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office, Outlook, Project and Visio 10. Demonstrates diplomacy, persuasiveness, decision:making, and managerial skills 11. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
