Location: Sales Territory in and around Vacaville and Fairfield, California
Compensation: $52,000 - $67,000 yearly base salary plus highly competitive uncapped commission program and company car
Dynamic and forward thinking Industrial Tool Supply Distribution Company with over 50 years of success and over $2 billion in sales; actively seeks Industrial Tool Supply Sales Account Executive for our Vacaville/Fairfield, California sales territory.
This is a long term, full time employment opportunity to join one of the country?s most highly respected and leading Industrial Tool Supply Distribution Companies.
Industrial Tool Supply Sales Account Executive qualifications and experience needed: (Include but are not limited to)
* Associates or Bachelor?s Degree in any subject matter is preferred.
* Must have a minimum of at least 5+ years of Outside Sales experience (REQUIRED) preferably in the Industrial Tools market (selling to commercial businesses, machine shops and government and military customers).
* Broad knowledge of Business to Business sales techniques is preferred.
* The ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience with Industrial Tools (Machine Shop) Product Area is preferred.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills (required)
* Basic computer literacy desired.
* Must have a valid driver?s license is required.
* Position requires daily local travel within branch or market territory.
* Occasional overnight travel is also required.
* Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
Industrial Tool Supply Sales Account Executive Job Description:
* Sells Industrial Supply Tool products with a focus on MRO related supplies and services.
* Ensure the achievement of individual and company sales and profit goals by fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of their sales potion.
* Responsible for visiting and interacting with established and prospective customers under general supervision.
* Ability to leverage company Value Basket Offering to Customer base to include Competitive Advantage Program (CAP), Customer Managed Inventory (CMI), and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) other newly introduced inventory solutions and web based solutions.
* Ensures growth of sales identifies and develops under close guidance new prospects and grows business to contribute to the achievement of company sales goals.
* Manages to ensure excellent customer relations. Responds to customer needs, consistent with company standards, culture, and business practices. Consults with manager to identify and implement solutions to problems.
* Demonstrates teamwork to ensure achievement of team and company sales goals.
* Maintains sales records and generates relevant market/sales reports for company.
* Monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints. Takes corrective action as needed.
* Develops a personal business plan under general management supervision to establish personal annual goals.
* Fosters the company culture in the branch and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of company Mission.
* Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
