The position of Regional Sales Manager leads A:N in the pursuit of aggressive sales growth of Sanitary Instrumentation and Controls in the Dairy, Fluid Food and Beverage markets in the West Region. An individual contributor responsible for leading A:Ns pursuit of aggressive sales growth of sanitary instrumentation and controls, and applications specific systems within OEM, SI and A and E firms in the Food and Beverage and Pharmaceutical markets. Performs all sales activities (including but not limited to maintaining a high frequency of customer onsite calls, product demonstrations/presentations, preparing detailed quotations) that result in A:N sales growth of 10 per year. Creates unique/detailed action plans at an account level to determine best approach based on competitive positions, prioritized buying influences, key differentiators, etc.Maintains a high level of visibility at designated strategic accts to build strong, value:based relationships with key decision makers.Develops and maintains a robust and accurate opportunity pipeline sufficient to capture annual top line growth target within the assigned account base.Utilizes Customer Relationship Management software (sf) as the primary tool to manage day:to:day sales activities (including, but not limited to pre:call plans, detailed contact management, quotations, communication/email tracking, project stage management, etc.)Embraces The Best Team Wins approach to promote collaboration within the sales team to maximize A:Ns share on large project opportunities.Works collaboratively with Marketing, Engineering and Service groups to provide Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback on customer needs, application specific solutions, new product developments, market trends, etc.Bachelors degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or a related field required. Minimum of 3 : 5 years of sales experience selling directly to OEM, SI and A and Es Minimum of 1 : 3 years of experience with process instrumentation or sensors Possess exceptional time management skills providing an effective balance between the top priorities and typical daily tasks Takes action quickly/effectively in a fast paced environment completing tasks on:time and with high quality Highly polished, excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate A:Ns value proposition to high:level decision makers Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver results through process:oriented/data:driven continuous improvement tools and methods (sales funnel process, CRM utilization, value selling, etc.) Must be willing to travel domestically (primarily within region) up to 75, including attendance at key tradeshows Danaher is a Fortune 200, NYSE:listed, science and technology leader that designs, manufactures and markets innovative products and services to professional, medical, industrial and commercial customers.
