Job Description
A Fortune 500 worldwide leader in the Intelligence and Information Industry (employee screening solutions) is seeking an Account Executive. Sales experience in the background investigations industry is a must for this regional position with this dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect continuously for new clients through a variety of techniques, including inbound website inquiries (80%) and cold/warm calling.
Build strong sales opportunity pipeline through lead management and lead generation.
Maintains comprehensive customer information of all prospects in electronic database/CRM.
Complete required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts sales calls, and expense reports.
Maintain existing accounts
Monitor customer/prospects contract calendars; prepare reports on status of leads and other reports as required.
Collaborate with the marketing department to develop campaigns to maximize sales.
Analyze local market to identify market opportunities.
Create unique product and services combinations and solutions to meet each client s individual needs.
Gain access to decision-makers and convert qualified leads within an assigned market.
Adhere to monthly and yearly sales goals and recognize opportunities for revenue growth and exceeding attainable monthly quota.
Develop pricing and business development strategies.
Participate in development of sales forecasts.
Participates in trade associations and trade shows, and promotional efforts
Complete, with proven competence, training programs as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-3 years progressive sales experience in background investigation industry.
Bachelor s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or Human Resources.
Compensation:
$60K base, 30% bonus potential

Key Skills and Abilities:
2-3 years progressive sales experience in background investigation industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills via various formats and mediums.
Ability to communicate effectively in all modes at all levels of company and client organizations.
Proficient in MS Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Confidence and ability to make outbound calls on new and existing customers.
Must be able to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed goals.
